Barnsley Archery Club is a family orientated Club who aim to provide a safe, friendly and fun atmosphere for archers of all ages and experience.
The club has more than 50 members, with both junior and senior sections. The club's membership covers a wide range of ages from 8 to 70, and has members from as far afield as Lincolnshire.
All bow styles, ancient and modern, are represented, and members take part in the full range of archery disciplines with great success, at all levels including National. The club practices traditional target archery and clout archery. Members of the club are active and successful in competition.
Additionally the club has an exceptionally strong coaching body:- One L4 coach - currently appointed as one of four Olympic Technical coaches. - Three L3 coaches - Three L2 coaches - Two L1 coaches - Three tutors / assessors of CSLA in Archery - Coaches currently working with members of the national youth squad and senior England archers - Coaches working at national level on UKCC development
