Club Awards

The Club support a number of award schemes for archers as they progress. Awards can only be made if you submit your

 scores to the club records officer or nominated member who administers the scheme; so don’t forget to get your scores

for the season to the appropriate person so that you can gain your hard earned reward!!!

Club Handicap Improvement Medal

Awarded annually to the Club Member who has shown the best improvement in their handicap. Relates to Outdoor rounds

Marina Rose - Please provide Marina with the score for your rounds shot each season by December 10th.

Submissions can be made using the BAC score record sheet available on the downloads page.

Awarded annually at the Club Christmas celebration

Classification awards

Awarded to archers who achieve the appropriate scores as defined in the classifications tables set by Archery GB. Details of the scores you require can be found on the Yorkshire website. The club is able to award classifications up to the level of Bowman; anything above bowman ,must be sumbitted to Archery GB.

Archery GB for: Junior Master Bowman, Master Bowman and Grand Master Bowman

Awarded annually at the Club Christmas celebration

252 Award Scheme

The Club operates a 252 award scheme and specific target days outdoor are dedicated to 252 attempts. This is not your only chance of achieving the award as you can submit any scores from competitive shooting.Awards are given for scoring 252 for your first 3 dozen competitive arrows at any distance (in yards) up to 100yds. Different colour badges are awarded for each distance achieved.
