Early Bird Results

The Club Early Bird tournament was held on Sunday 4th March and the results are now posted in the downloads section. In spite of some horrendous weather the tournament made £212 for Cancer Research and MacMillan Trust. Thank you to everyone who came along and gave so generously for what are very worthy causes.

Indoor Portsmouth Tournament

The Club Indoor Portsmouth tournament was held today and was a great success with numerous compliments received by all attending. Great thanks to all who came along on the day and helped with Catering, field party, raffle, scoring and anything else that came their way. The club photographer for the day was Rachael Smith and the photographs will be posted shortly. The results have been posted in the downloads section.

Club Xmas Celebration

The Annual Club Xmas celebration meal and presentations is set for Sunday 18th December 2011 at the Shaw Suite, Shaw Lane Rugby Club. The evening costs £13.95 per person and comprises a three course meal followed by coffee and Mince pies. The bar is provided by Shaw Lane. Once the eating is completed the annual presentations of Club Member of the Year, Senior and Junior Archer of the Year, Handicap improvement medal and any other classifications and awards take place.

All Club Members (including affiliate members) are welcome to attend; partners and family are also welcomed. The menu is attached. Anyone wishing to attend please email Gwen Smith with your meal choices and hand over your £8 deposit per person as soon as possible to either Gwen or Marina. We need to provide Shaw Lane with numbers and details as soon as possible so it would be appreciated if you could let us know quickly if you are considering attending.

For those who are regulars at the celebration, we look forward to your company again this year and those who have never attended before we hope that you will come along and help us to celebrate another year at the Club.

Club Member of the Year

It is that time of the year again! In addition to your festive preparations it is time for you to vote on who you feel deserves the title ‘Club Member of the Year’ (and of course the honour of ensuring the continued safe keeping of the fabled ‘Robin Hood Jug’). Voting slips are available on club nights or you can download the voting slip and e mail your votes to the club secretary.
